Experienced Horticulture Community Leader Marjorie G. Rosen
From 1980 to 2003, Marjorie G. Rosen served as the president of London’s Arts Britannia, Ltd. She co-founded the company, which initially coordinated decorative and fine arts tours for individual and corporate clients, such as Alliance Capital Management. She focused on tours in the London area, including tours of the Queen’s silversmith’s home and workshop, before relocating the business to the United States in 1982. Over the years, Marjorie G. Rosen began using the Arts Britannia brand to sell her hand-crafted hanging garden containers.
Ms. Rosen has served as a member and leader of many boards and committees. She joined the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) board in 2002 and has served as the vice chairman and co-chair of the NYBG Plant Collectors’ Sale, among other positions.
Marjorie G. Rosen studied liberal arts at the University of Cincinnati. Her personal interests include food and travel. She has extensive experience as a world traveler, including her time as a board member of the Royal Oak Foundation, which involved traveling to various private and public gardens with leading members of Britain’s horticulture community.
